Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and optimize the accounts receivable processes within our organization. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who excels in managing collections, billing, and cash applications while ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Based in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health and efficiency of the company. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. u2022 Coordinate commercial collections efforts to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow. u2022 Monitor and analyze aging reports to identify and address overdue accounts effectively. u2022 Supervise cash application processes to ensure proper allocation of payments. u2022 Collaborate with billing teams to ensure invoices are issued correctly and on schedule. u2022 Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. u2022 Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance performance and productivity. u2022 Develop and implement strategies to improve accounts receivable workflows and efficiencies. u2022 Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable metrics to management. u2022 Address client inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a thorough and timely manner. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable management, including collections and billing. u2022 Strong knowledge of cash application processes and financial reporting. u2022 Proficiency in analyzing aging reports and implementing collection strategies. u2022 Excellent organizational and leadership skills to oversee department operations. u2022 Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and management. u2022 Familiarity with financial software and tools relevant to accounts receivable. u2022 Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
