Sr. C++ Software Engineer - Healthcare Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Job ID: 00067516461 About the role As a Software Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, testing, and supporting TriZetto applications that enable critical healthcare business operations. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant TriZetto Engineering team and work collaboratively with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support to deliver highu2011quality software solutions that address complex business needs . In this role, you will: + Analyze, design, program, and test TriZetto software applications to support healthcare business operations. + Collaborate with crossu2011functional teams to refine requirements, enhance existing functionality, and recommend technical solutions. + Develop and maintain software using C++ as the primary programming language. + Write and optimize SQL queries to support application logic and data workflows. + Integrate and maintain messaging solutions using IBM MQ. + Support frontu2011end enhancements using Angular (as needed). + Troubleshoot software defects, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes. + Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. + Ensure software quality, performance, and maintainability across the application lifecycle. What you need to have to be considered: + Min 10 yrs of strong handsu2011on experience with C++ (must have). + Experience with SQL for data manipulation and query development. + Experience working with IBM MQ or similar messaging technologies. + Ability to analyze requirements, write clean code, and validate functionality through testing. + Strong logical reasoning, problemu2011solving abilities, and attention to detail. + Experience collaborating with crossu2011functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. These will help you stand out: + Experience with Angular for UI enhancement or frontu2011end development. + Exposure to healthcare payer systems, especially Blues plans. + Knowledge of TriZetto products, workflows, or healthcare domain architecture. + Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software engineering best practices. Salary and Other Compensation: Applicants will be accepted till 3/30/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. _Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future_ The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113K-$132K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
