Payroll/HR Clerk

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll/HR Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Stuart, Florida. This part-time role involves working 30 hours per week and requires a strong background in payroll processing and HR support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle payroll tasks efficiently while assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process weekly payroll for two companies, managing approximately 50 employees in total. u2022 Ensure accurate handling of garnishments and payroll-related deductions. u2022 Support HR functions such as onboarding new hires and facilitating offboarding procedures. u2022 Act as a liaison for HR operations during transitions or outsourcing activities. u2022 Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and company policies. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Prepare and submit payroll reports as required. u2022 Keep detailed and organized records of payroll and HR activities. u2022 Provide administrative support to ensure smooth HR and payroll operations. u2022 Assist with other payroll or HR-related tasks as needed. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in payroll processing and handling full-cycle payroll. u2022 Familiarity with managing payroll for 101-500 employees. u2022 Knowledge of payroll garnishments and related procedures. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently. u2022 Proficiency in payroll software and related systems. u2022 Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and management. u2022 Understanding of HR processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
