Actalent is Hiring a Team of RN Case Managers / Must have OB or Pediatric Experience Job Description We are seeking a dedicated OB Case Manager who will play a crucial role in coordinating care for maternal and child health populations. The role involves ensuring safe, evidence-based interventions across the continuum of care while acting as a support liaison between the patient and the doctor. Responsibilities + Coordinate care for maternal and child health populations. + Conduct intake assessments using a standard template. + Develop individualized care plans. + Coordinate discharge planning. + Monitor clinical outcomes on an ongoing basis. + Ensure compliance with Medicaid contracts. + Promote improved maternal and neonatal outcomes. + Maintain strong documentation and proficiency with EHR systems. + Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality standards. Essential Skills + Active RN license in Florida. + 3u20135 years of clinical experience in OB, high-risk antepartum, or NICU. + 3-5 years of experience with case management in a managed care organization, health plan, or insurance carrier. + Experience with utilization management. + Experience supporting Medicaid members. + Strong organizational and documentation skills. + Proficiency in care coordination and discharge planning. + Ability to work independently and meet productivity metrics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Nursing (Masteru2019s preferred). + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR platforms. + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and hybrid schedules. + InterQual experience. + Certified Case Manager with Medicaid/Medicare regulations. + Experience with motivational interviewing. + Knowledge of maternal health quality measures (HEDIS). + Experience in managed care or health plan settings. + Cultural competence and patient engagement skills. + Familiarity with community resources (Healthy Start, WIC, SNAP). + Ability to adapt to hybrid work environments. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work environment in Florida, requiring onsite presence on Tuesdays. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break and flexible start times. Initial training includes onsite sessions for computer pickup and EPIC training. After training, occasional onsite visits to Sunrise, FL, are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
