Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Fairlawn, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of billing systems and a commitment to delivering excellent service. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner. u2022 Monitor and manage billing collections to ensure payments are received promptly. u2022 Maintain and update billing records within the designated systems. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries. u2022 Review invoices and statements to ensure compliance with company policies. u2022 Generate reports on billing activities and collections for management review. u2022 Assist with implementing improvements to streamline billing processes. u2022 Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information. u2022 Handle customer queries related to billing and provide clear resolutions. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in billing, accounting, or a related field. u2022 Strong knowledge of billing systems and processes. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Proficiency in using computer software, including spreadsheets and billing tools. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Analytical mindset for identifying and resolving discrepancies. u2022 High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
