Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic wholesale distribution environment. The role focuses on administrative tasks and supporting accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and match invoices efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures. u2022 Maintain organized records and filing systems for accounts payable documentation. u2022 Perform coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to accounts. u2022 Conduct regular check runs and manage payment schedules. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues. u2022 Support backlog clearance efforts to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Utilize SAP HANA for invoice processing and accounts payable tasks. u2022 Ensure adherence to established policies and guidelines within an office environment. u2022 Provide administrative support to accounts payable operations as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. u2022 Proficient in processing invoices and managing check runs. u2022 Familiarity with coding invoices and invoice processing systems. u2022 Experience using SAP HANA or similar financial software. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle large volumes of paperwork. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an office environment that values attention to detail. u2022 Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. u2022 Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
