Entry Level Data Center Technician

FORTY cable/data center technicians needed for a large data center in Lenoir, NC. No cabling experience needed Job Description: Our client has an immediate need for 40 cable/data center technicians for a large data center in Lenoir, NC. Must have cabling OR physical labor experience of any kind (construction, landscaping, roofing, drywall, stocking, etc.) The typical work work is 60 hours per week. Overtime will be paid at time and a half. Must be willing to work 6 days per week and submit to compliance testing. Reliable transportation and dependability is a must Pay Rate: + Physical labor experience, with no cabling experience - $23-$25 per hour, depending on experience + 3 months to 2 years of cabling or data center experience - $26 per hour + 2+ years of cabling or data center experience - $28-$30 per hour Job Duties: + Learn how to pull, dress, and label cabling + Begin RJ45 connector and patch panel terminations with guidance + Assist in labeling and cable identification + Learn and perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks + Support cable testing using basic tools under supervision + Gain exposure to fiber cable dressing and basic handling + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment + Take direction from lead technicians and supervisors Schedule: Mon-Sat, 6am-5pm 1st shift and 2nd Shift; OT and Saturday work may be required Location: Lenoir, NC Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC.
