The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial performance of the portfolio ($900M) within Collins Aerospace. The incumbent will provide leadership and oversight and lead all financial activities for portfolio including financial planning, forecasting, accounting, pricing and program planning/control. The role is a critical member of the businesses providing partnership and guidance across functions and also important in setting strategy and direction for the business. What You Will Do + Lead the finance team across the full product life cycle, including strategic planning and budgeting, product development investments, proposal support, cost estimation and pricing, cost management, capital deployment, and business performance reporting. + Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to strategic and operational discussions to drive business performance and decision-making. + Own, execute, and continuously improve the Finance functionu2019s long-term strategy and operational direction. + Partner with the business CFO and senior leaders to develop and execute strategies that achieve financial commitments and business objectives. + Act as a trusted business partner to Vice President and General Manager leaders, challenging and guiding them to achieve clear financial targets. + Provide accounting guidance on complex business situations, applying a strong understanding of GAAP principles. + Apply deep balance sheet expertise, including analytics related to asset recoverability, impairment analysis, and financial health indicators. + Ensure alignment between financial planning and the master production schedule to support customer demand and operational priorities. + Develop and strengthen finance team capabilities, building leadership depth and preparing talent for future business needs. + Lead cross-functional initiatives, driving collaboration, accountability, and measurable business results. + Travel up to 15% Qualifications You Must Have + Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience + U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: + 10 years leading a business or FP&A and knowledgeable GAAP standards with the ability to identify accounting solutions for complex business situations. + 10 years working with balance sheets and related analytics, including asset recoverability and impairment analysis. + 10 yearsu2019 experience in leadership developing finance team talent and leadership capabilities to meet future business challenges. + 10 years leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business results.
