About the Role: As a Lead Consultant u2013 Core Banking Solutions , you will make an impact by owning and delivering critical workstreams within largeu2011scale core banking transformation programs for major financial institutions. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Consulting team and work collaboratively with clients, product teams, engineering, and program leadership to drive successful implementations and client outcomes. In this role, you will: u2022 Own one or more core banking workstreams, such as deposits and product configuration, loan servicing, customer and party data, general ledger and reporting, or system integrations. u2022 Lead requirements definition, data mapping, and workflow design aligned to core platforms such as IBS and Profile. u2022 Drive configuration and customization activities, including product setup, parameters, tables, and forms using core banking authoring tools. u2022 Plan and execute testing activities, including mock conversions, reportu2011based validation, and preu2011conversion balancing across operational and GL data. u2022 Support client readiness, lead UAT execution and defect triage, contribute to cutover activities, and secure formal client acceptance for inu2011scope deliverables. What you need to have to be considered: u2022 7u201312+ years of experience delivering core banking implementations for large financial institutions. u2022 Handsu2011on experience with IBS and/or Profile, including configuration and data conversion artifacts. u2022 Proven delivery of fieldu2011level data mapping, mock conversions, UAT leadership, and GL reconciliation. u2022 Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with developers on customizations. u2022 Demonstrated clientu2011facing experience leading workshops and working in a professional services or consulting environment. These will help you stand out: u2022 Experience with APIu2011based integrations and open banking patterns. u2022 Prior ownership of cutover planning, gou2011live execution, and hypercare support. u2022 Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to crossu2011workstream coordination. u2022 Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to delivery and risk management. Total Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges between $81,450 - $129,500 per year. This position is eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
