The Work In this role, you will contribute to design and test of digital hardware including servers, cabinets, high speed digital printed circle boards, and other assemblies for radar and other applications. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the design and test of digital hardware. preferably including Printed Circuit Board and cable design. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The Work As a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading Hardware development teams of 5 - 20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems. u2022 Acting as technical liaison between Engineering &Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning. u2022 Facilitating weekly IPT status meetings and ensuring transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders. u2022 Delivering clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers and cross functional teams. u2022 Overseeing subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance and quality requirements. u2022 Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts. u2022 Mentoring IPT members and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture. Experience with troubleshooting electronics at the component / circuit board level, including batteries, DC/DC converters, Inverters, and embedded FPGAs and micro-processors. u2022 Cable Design Experience in Zuken E3 u2022 PCB Design Experience in Altium, Xpedition, or other design software u2022 Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems, document testing processes and results in the appropriate problem reporting system u2022 Experience with Change Management and Release Processes Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
