The Associate Director, Planned Giving Marketing & Bequest Administration has two main areas of focus: 1) The development and implementation of Planned Giving specific marketing, branding, and promotional efforts to drive the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of planned gift donors of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) and all member institutions with the ultimate goal to drive donor engagement and enhance philanthropic revenue. Tasks include but are not limited to: project management of marketing initiatives with a focus on digital and hard copy outreach to planned giving prospects, digital and hard copy outreach via member specific donor surveys and planned giving web site(s) creation and management, in concert with third party planned giving vendor. 2) The management and administration of decedentu2019s estates, life income gifts, beneficiary designations, perpetual trusts and any and all other planned gifts maturing at a donoru2019s death. Tasks include but are not limited to: liaising with the BILH member institutions as well as with any third party vendor engaged with by BILH to facilitate the distribution of planned gifts to BILH and its member institutions. The Associate Director, Planned Giving Marketing & Bequest Administration maintains close and collaborative working relationships with all system and hospital philanthropy leadership and frontline fundraisers, department administrators, donors, BILH Marketing Communications, internal communications and External Relations teams in support of philanthropic objectives. (hybrid) Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to: Relative to Planned Giving Marketing The Associate Director, Planned Giving Marketing & Bequest Administration: u2022 Supports the planned giving marketing efforts across BILH and its affiliate hospitals. u2022 Leads the project management of print, email, and digital initiatives. This includes monitoring project schedules and budgets, working closely with internal BILH departments and third-party vendors, and supporting the production, approval process, and execution of key projects u2022 Ensures the integrity and consistency of system and affiliate messaging and brand style guide standards. u2022 Oversees the project management and execution of integrated planned giving marketing channels including design, production, digital and print. Ensures programs are benchmarked and provide competitive differentiation to set first-class standards of planned giving marketing programs. u2022 Secures approvals and ensure waivers and documentation for use of imagery, quotes, and other ensures content aligns with legal and compliance standards. Track and maintain all documentation in a standardized system. u2022 Creates and disseminates consistent and u201con brandu201d planned giving marketing materials. Supports the development, design and production of collateral, online and offline multimedia that reflect consistent branding standards and drive planned giving revenue. u2022 Supports the planned giving marketing strategy for all BILH and affiliate hospitalsu2019 serving as the expert on best practices in planned giving marketing efforts utilizing, mail, email and web initiatives, as well as branding and design. Supports the development and maintenance of a fiscal year calendar to drive comprehensive messaging by audience through integrated communication channels. u2022 Serves as content expert for branding guidelines. u2022 Works with donor relations, events, and communications teams to develop creative planned giving stewardship tools and planned giving donor marketing materials to support fundraising objectives. Implements metrics and tracking to assess ROI and program refinement to meet clearly articulated goals. u2022 Supports project management for creative design and production of planned giving focused materials to support frontline fundraisers and philanthropic goals. u2022 Conducts industry benchmarking to ensure competitive differentiation and best-in-class marketing programs. u2022 Other tasks as assigned. Relative to Bequest Administration, The Associate Director, Planned Giving Marketing and Bequest Administration, u2022 Supports the Bequest Administration process across BILH and its affiliate institutions. u2022 Tracks and maintains all documentation in a standardized system. u2022 Liaises with any third-party vendor engaged by BILH to facilitate the distribution of planned gifts. u2022 Liaises with State Street Global Associates (SSGA) or such other life income gift vendor engaged by BILH to facilitate the implementation of Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts in support of BILH and its affiliate institutions. u2022 Conducts industry benchmarking to ensure competitive differentiation and best-in-class bequest administration program. u2022 Other tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bacheloru2019s degree required. Licensure, Certification & Registration: N/A Experience: 5-7 years related work experience required. Project management experience is required along with a working knowledge of planned giving vehicles. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Must demonstrate teamwork, resourcefulness, results orientation, optimisim, and trust. Experience in planned giving marketing, communications, planned giving event management and donor/customer relations in large, complex institution. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated excellence in problem solving, superior attention to detail, ability to coordinate multiple projects across a broad group of staff. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (especially powerpoint, word and excel). Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Ability to work in fast-past paced institution within the dynamic health care environment. Dept/Unit Specific Skills: Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required. Pay Range: $120,000.00 USD - $140,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
