Join our exceptional team of high-energy leaders as a Senior Lending Manager in Chase Home Lending and put your knowledge and understanding of the home lending industry to good use by leading and motivating a team of Senior Home Lending Advisors. You will adhere to all regulatory requirements while executing on the strategic business plan to promote and market the firm's mortgage products to clients, team members, and partners inside and outside the branch footprint, attain mortgage lending goals, generate profit and manage and grow a team. You will have direct accountability for leading all Home Lending activities. As a Senior Lending Manager in Chase Home Lending, you have an opportunity to build a team and impact strategic growth while helping clients to fulfilling the dream of homeownership. Job responsibilities + You will own the business, through significant impact on the business P/L,developing and executing against Mortgage Banking strategies, influence short- andlong-term business and technical investments, and execute against controls andthe regulatory environment. You will be responsible for hiring, recruiting andmanaging the Lending Managers and Home Lending Advisors required for successand for managing the partnership with Consumer Bank leadership. + You will have Business Ownership of P/L for your Market and will understand, guide,influence and execute against pricing, price exceptions, staffing and capacityplanning, and general expense management. + You will manage relationships by representing Mortgage Banking with key RetailBank Partners, Internal IT and Product Partners, Operations and UW Partners,External Lead Generation and Title Vendors, and Clients. + You will actively recruit talent to meet staffing needs; recognize high potentialemployees; coach Lending Managers and Mortgage Bankers for career and/orpersonal development; creating diverse and cohesive teams; holding peopleaccountable for excellence; promote an inclusive work environment. + You will monitor the quality and quantity of loan applications and closings; provideadvice and counsel on how to best build the business and close loans; addressperformance issues promptly and positively; ensure compliance with requirementsand regulations; review processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. + You will use your strategic skills to maintain a broad perspective of the mortgagemarket and a long-term view of the customer and relationship; identifyingopportunities in sales, sta??ing, and/or processes; developing a plan to leverageopportunities; visioning alternatives and options and their likelihood of success. Youwill think creatively to solve complex problems. + You will use your Mortgage Banking expertise to understand and apply mortgageo??ering and home lending guidelines in all 50 states; understand the credit andunderwriting process in its entirety (pre-credit, post approval, and closing); befamiliar with the diversity of Chase products/services and the advantages of each;understand the local market and the needs and priorities of the clients; keep currentwith the mortgage industry and business/economic trends; know how to useautomated programs/software to support the lending process; and effectivelyhandling
