Forklift Operator

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a Forklift Operator for an onsite opportunity in Williamsport. This role is ideal for candidates with stand-up forklift experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you meet the qualifications below, apply today Responsibilities The Forklift Operator will be responsible for, but not limited to: + Operating and driving a stand-up forklift (valid forklift certification required) + Loading and unloading pallets and individual cases from trailers + Collecting empty pallet boards and transporting them to storage areas + Picking appropriate cases according to order using required technology + Loading trailers using carts or stacking cases on trailer floors + Receiving and distributing product throughout the warehouse + Assisting with weekly product inventory counts + Performing general housekeeping and sanitation tasks (sweeping floors, cleaning trailers, removing trash, etc.) + Safely lifting and handling items weighing 15u201350 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications What Youu2019ll Need to Excel Minimum Requirements: + Current forklift certification (must be presented to be considered) + At least 6 months of forklift operating experience + Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 15u201350 lbs + Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift + Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Work Schedule & Details + Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour + Schedule: Monday u2013 Thursday + Shift: 6:00 AM u2013 4:30 PM + Additional: Some mandatory Fridays required + Location: Onsite u2013 Williamsport, MD Whatu2019s in It for You + Weekly paycheck + Dedicated Onboarding Specialist and Recruiter support + Consistent weekday schedule with overtime opportunities + Opportunity to work in a safety-focused warehouse environment This Forklift Operator position is being recruited by Adecco.
