RN Manager, Trauma Program

Under the general direction of the Director CEPS this position is a registered nurse with knowledge and clinical experience in the care of injured patients who, in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director (TMD), coordinates the interdisciplinary services and organizational systems necessary for optimal care of the injured patient, and oversees the educational, clinical, research, administrative, financial, performance improvement, and outreach activities of a trauma program following the American College of Surgeons (ACS) standards, North Dakota Department of Health/Trauma Standards and Trinitys vision, mission, and values. This position requires knowledge and skill in professional nursing theory and practice, trauma care and trauma systems, principles of teaching and learning, and quality management. This position will also prepare and maintain the hospital for ACS verification and State designation as a level II trauma center.
