TheDepartment of Psychiatry and Psychologywithin theNeurological Institute(NI) at Cleveland Clinic has an immediate need to recruit full-time inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrists in Northeast Ohio (NEO). Board-certified or board eligibility for the Geropsychiatry subspecialty is required. Niche outpatient work with various centers in the Neurological Institute, such as Parkinson’s Disease, Dementias, Stroke, TBI, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation will be offered. Out of our 200 inpatient psychiatry beds, we have designated 50 geropsychiatry units at our Lutheran and Marymount hospitals.We have a growing Psychiatric Treatment Resistant Program, with advanced therapies such as TMS, DBS, Ketamine, and psychedelics, coupled with the largest ECT program in NEO. Research opportunities are available within the various centers of the Neurological Institute.
