WORK SCHEDULE + 100% FTE, 40 hours weekly + Day Shift, Mon - Fri DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Harborview's 2 West Clinics include Madison (HIV Primary Care), Infectious Diseases, Hansens Disease, Travel Medicine, Allergy (Adult), High Resolution Anoscopy, and the MOD, MAX, and Aurora/SHE low barrier clinics. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS + Conveniently located near public transportation + Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve + Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES + Functions as a competent Registered Nurse to provide safe and therapeutic care and coordination of services throughout the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as acting as a clinical resource for staff + Oversees day-to-day clinical activities, supervises and supports clinical staff (RN2 and MA), and provides direction to and coordination of the work of other clinic support staff + Helps in the planning and implementation of desired changes to improve the delivery of patient care and development of clinical support staff + Helps develop, guide, and oversee Quality Improvement initiatives in conjunction with administrative and physician leadership REQUIREMENTS + Active WA State or Multi-State RN License by start date + At least 5 years of experience as an RN in high acuity settings ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
