We pride ourselves on being dedicated to our values:- People:u00a0Encouraging the success of our people.- Trust:u00a0Building relationships among ourselves, customers, vendors & other partners.- Commitment:u00a0Continuously striving to deliver high-quality, measurable results.- Innovation:u00a0Providing ideas & solutions for our customers.The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and overseeing warehouse activities under the direction of the on-duty Manager daily to ensure full and efficient operations of the Warehouse.What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:- Oversees and coordinates inbound deliveries of pipe and strut at to/from all Loeb locations.- Coordinates customer pick up orders and demonstrates concern for the customer in every interaction; ensures excellent customer experience.- Coordinates with local shipping team to load delivery trucks with pipe for customer deliveries.- Verifies required inbound delivery paperwork to ensure that all product is properly counted.- Ensures pipe and strut deliveries are accurate and free of damage and errors; record errors, track trends and provide data to manager.- Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment by providing instruction on use and training if certified.- Identifies process improvement opportunities and works with the Transportation Supervisor to implement changes as needed.- Assist in loading delivery trucks towards the end of the shift.- Acts as a resource to other Warehouse associates and follows-up on tasks that are assigned to determine if completed correctly and timely.- Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.- Assists the Transportation Supervisor with the daily resourcing of associates as needed to make sure all tasks are completed on the shift across all departments.- Monitors overall process for bottlenecks, backlogs, or issues and escalates to Supervisor and Manager as necessary.- Offers guidance and support to other Warehouse associates as needed; follows instructions and guidance from manager and does not act as a supervisor without direction.- Works with Transportation Manager to assist with identifying training needs relating to duties, responsibilities, data systems and other training.- Creates training and process documentation under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor and Transportation Manger to be used throughout functions.Experience:- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment- Experience driving forklift, required- Ability to operate pallet jack and RF Scanner- Experience using Eclipse data system, preferred- Experience in a leadership role, preferredCore Competencies:- Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision.- Courteous and friendly disposition with the ability to interact with and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.- Confidence in decision making, troubleshooting ability and problem solving.- Highly organized and detail oriented.- Basic computer and math skills.- Experience interacting with an integrated, multifunction system such as Eclipse.- Ability to use a computer, keyboard and mouse including data entry and making intelligent and effective use of available information.
