FTE: 0.50 Standard Hours: 20.00 Shift: Shift 1 Monday - Friday7:30-11:30 a.m. Holidays: call rotation Weekends: call rotation JobSummary: The clinicians functioning as Exercise Physiologists areresponsible for orienting, monitoring and evaluating patients receivingeither Exercise Myocardial Perfusion or Pharmacologic stress tests. Theclinicians are also responsible for maintaining good flow for all testsin order to minimize wait time for all patients. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field is required.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Knowledge of basic 12 lead ECG, arrhythmiarecognition, preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American HeartAssociation (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) isrequired within 6 months of hire.
