Ensuresconformance of educational programs to state and local school boardstandards through evaluation, development and coordination activities;As needed, researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources thatmeet state standards; Manages teaching and administrative staff; ManagesMaster and Lead Teachers and programs; Helps articulate the school'smission and vision with the aim of ensuring all stakeholders have acommon understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively in orderto achieve desired results; Utilizes/relies heavily upon communicationtechnologies and practices that most effectively support a predominantlyvirtual / remote work environment; Confers with teachers, students, andparents concerning educational and behavioral problems in school;Coordinates with teacher and K12 Enrollment regarding expulsions andwithdrawals; Ensures that the school is meeting the needs of studentswhile complying with local, state, and federal laws, including lawspertaining to special education; Develops and oversees implementation ofthe school's Academic Improvement Plan. MINIMUM REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in business, education or related fieldof study AND Five (5) years of educational experience AND One (1) yearof supervisory experience OR Equivalent combination of education andexperience Ability to clear required background check OTHER REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrable leadership, organizational and timemanagement skills Strong written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio,etc.); Web proficiency. Ability to travel 20% of the time Experience asan on-line / virtual educator State License as a School AdministratorDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with proposed age group.Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortarenvironment. Experience with online learning platforms.
