Responsibilities + Termination of cables in the relay control panels, as well as any outdoor equipment (breakers, VTu2019s, etc.). + All necessary wiring supplies will be available, minus standard hand tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, etc.). + Supplied tools include crimpers, wire strippers and cable cutters. + Instruction will be given on site as to proper wiring technique desired by the customer, as well as training on proper shield grounding of the control cable. + An understanding of wiring diagrams is necessary, as this will be one of the primary means to determine cable location and termination sequence. + Assistance in correcting factory wiring may be required, as well as re-wiring existing circuits during a cutover at brown field substations. Qualifications Required: + Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. + Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. + Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time. + Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs. + Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.
