Applications Spray Technician, Weekday Nights

As an Applications Spray Technician, Weekday Nights, you will interact daily within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment & Automation tools. You will ensure the safe operation of Applications Spray Equipment and Chemical Handling necessary. You will report to the Applications Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH.This shift is Tuesday through Friday from 7pm to 5:30am.NO prior experience necessary / paid training / Physically demanding positionMain Responsibilities:Analyze and set equipment parameters per standard documentationUse computers to operate equipment, capture process settings and record resultsUnderstand, record and verbalize detailed information accuratelySpray and test samples of paint from production and developmentComplete the spray experiments using Robotic EquipmentAbility to follow all safety protocols and complete assigned safety trainingKeep the lab clean and performing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled 5S tasksData entry into the Application logQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required, with chemistry and algebra knowledge preferred; some college chemistry and math are desirableUnderstand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately is required; the Applications Tech must be observant and accurateMust be able to handle physically demanding positionDigitally literateThe base salary for this position is $42,000.PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
