Position Summary: The Sr. Manager Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the pilot plants operations, including TEC labs, are compliant with KORE standards as well as applicable local regulations and norms regarding quality, safety, and environmental requirements. This role will design, implement, and continuously improve EOSH (Environment, Occupational Safety & Health) and quality systems. The Manager will serve as the key point of contact with regulatory authorities, certification organizations, and internal subject matter experts on quality, safety, and environmental topics relevant to TEC Labs and the pilot plants. Key Responsibilities: Policy & Documentation Safety Management System. + Set the Management processes to develop, review, approve, distribute, and manage all local procedures related to quality and EOSH programs. + Manage the site's document management and record keeping systems. + Ensure alignment with the latest KORE and local regulatory requirements in areas including Occupational safety, Environmental compliance, and Good Laboratory Practices. Training & Awareness + Partner with HR and GDI leaders to define and identify training needs, maintain skill matrices and oversee training/coaching for compliance, including EOSH onboarding program for new associates. + Define training processes and programs to ensure the implementation of the EOSH systems. + Promote awareness of EOSH policies and objectives to set a culture of Safety and food safety as part of our main purpose to protect our associates and assets. Compliance & Risk Management + Partner closely with Facilities Management and TEC teams to ensure compliance with EOSH requirements, ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. + Partner with Workplace to ensure the control of legal and regulatory records. + Partner with Workplace and Security to be involved on emergency response procedures, incorporating learnings from drills and other feedback sources. + Define the process to conduct risk assessments across EOSH areas. + Manage facility registrations and product filings with regulatory and certification authorities. Audits & Corrective Actions. + Define and implement the Audit and Corrective Actions procedures. + Set the program to develop and train internal auditors. + Lead and manage internal audits program to identify gaps and coordinate systemic action plans for resolution as key elements for continuous improvement of our operations. Leadership & Continuous Improvement + Set routines with the leadership team to advise on EOSH strategy and performance, define strategic vision of EOSH management system, and ask for resources. + Define KPI's, prepare performance reports and dashboards to communicate Management System progress. + Lead continuous improvement initiatives in GDI operations. + Align EOSH objectives with business goals. Qualifications & Skills: + Bachelor's degree with +5 years of expertise in the food & beverage industry and EOSH Management System Implementation, + In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, food safety standards, environmental and occupational safety requirements. + Strong understanding of environmental compliance regulations and waste management practices. + Experienced in audit processes (internal & external) and corrective actions. Pay Range:$131,000 - $153,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:15Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role.
