Project Administrative Officer ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL VACANCY Applications are invited for consideration to the following position Department: Medicine / STAR Program Budget Title: Project Administrative Officer Salary Range: (Based Upon Experience)$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 Descriptive Title:Sr. Education Specialist Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week. Vacancy 26-6 Description of Duties: This is a grant funded position. -Provide leadership in program development and grant writing lo expand the scope of adolescent prevention services with the STAR Program -Participate in STAR-wide strategic planning, program development and integration of new services, community education and research projects -Provide leadership to the PREP and YHAP projects. Ensure achievement of grant deliverables and timely submission of all reports and renewal application -Develop and maintain program evaluation and quality improvement program; participate in developing abstracts, presentations and posters for presentation -Orient, train and directly supervise Program Coordinators; develop a system to monitor staff productivity; review achievement of program objectives. -Acl as lhe primary liaison with DOH Contract Managers. Ensure appropriate reporting of activities in compliance wilh funding agencies. -Act as lhe primary program person for all AIRS activities. Including planning sessions. meetings and discussions with the AIRS Data Manager. -Attend appropriate conferences and seminars to enhance knowledge of the field and promote growth in the position. -Serve as a resource on adolescent HIV prevention lo service providers; provide oversight to the BATES and BASNAP network -Collaborate with the STAR Program fiscal director to ensure appropriate fiscal planning and spending of extramural funds.
