The Position:Under the direction of the Aggregate Manager, the Aggregate Site ProjectCoordinator assists the aggregate manager, aggregate supervisors, andland resource manager in the day-to-day operations associated with sitemanagement and aggregate production. Role and Responsibilities SafetyProvide leadership and be a safety role model by promoting and enforcingsafe work habits and behaviors. Work with safety managers, aggregatemanagers, and field personnel to enforce MSHA laws and regulations andpromote safety within the organization. Quality Control Work with siteforeman, crushing supervisor and quality control personnel in schedulingmaterials testing and maintaining product specifications duringproduction. Assist in perpetual review, improvement and implementationof CQI procedures and processes. Crushing/Washing Production Work withall manufacturing departments to ensure materials meet specificationsand shipping/load out time frames. Work with foreman and crushingsupervisor in the day-to-day operations of aggregate productionincluding crushing and washing. Prepare aggregate site budgets andoversee the production (crushing and washing) throughout theconstruction season. Review and monitor production costs regularly tokeep as efficient as possible and identify ways to increase productionefficiency and lower costs.
