Job Summary and Qualifications As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN), youu2019ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, youu2019ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled team thatu2019s deeply committed to this unique population, youu2019ll restore comfort and healing - caring for patients like family and improving lives every day. Your responsibilities will include: + Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey + Performing expert procedures and medication administration u2013 including pain relief and fluid therapy u2013 delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort + Educating and supporting patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions + Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care tailored to each individualu2019s needs What qualifications you will need: + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado, or multistate license + Registered Nurse Diploma, BSN preferred + Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC + One or more years of acute care experience preferred.
