Server Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing Springfield, MA Full Time andPart Time Positions Aailable Must have weekend and evening availabilitySummary Description: Under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor,the Server is responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experiencefor our residents and their guests. Follows established order and styleof service while serving in the Main Dining Room and at specialfunctions. Performs assigned side duties. Follows all safety andsanitation rules and regulations. Responsible for clearing dishes,bussing and resetting tables. Maintains a clean, neat appearance.Essential Functions - Demonstrates the ability to courteously serve allresidents and their guests, and answer any dining related questions. -Offers specials and completes the order by asking appropriate questionsto the customer in order to make their meal complete. - Maintains DiningRoom and work areas in a clean and orderly manner at all times accordingto department standards as observed by random inspections. - Handles allglassware and silverware in a safe and sanitary manner and resets tableaccording to procedures. - Assists other departmental staff withassigned duties and training with or without verbal requests. Performsduties in an independent manner with minimal need for direct supervisionas observed by supervisor. - Makes suggestions for improvement in foodand service and participates in mandatory and regular meetings, providesinput-feedback - Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a teamstructure. Collaborating with co-workers while remaining positive andrespectful at all times. This includes delivering on resident and guestfunctions, activities and promotions Qualifications PreferredEducation: - High School diploma or equivalent Preferred Experience: -Previous customer service of at least 6 months
