Painter, Sandblaster, and Saw OperatorLocation: Denver, CO 80219Schedule: 5:30AM - 2:00PM, M-FNOVA Automation is seeking a skilled, energetic, and reliable candidate to fill the position of Painter and Fabricator! The position is responsible for bandsaw and other fabricator tools, material prep, and painting. The operator ensures the accurate and safe operation of their tools, performs basic maintenance and cleaning, and adheres to all safety and quality standards. Whats In It for You:Pay Range: $19.50 - 26.00 hourly, based on education & experienceHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance401(k) matchingEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee discountCompany paid time off + holidays Development, job growth, and internal training opportunitiesWhat Youll Do:PaintingPrepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers as requiredMix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specificationsOperate spray guns and related equipment within a paint boothApply coatings evenly to achieve proper thickness and finish qualityInspect finished parts for defects such as runs, sags, or improper coveragePerform touch-ups and rework as neededMaintain paint booth equipment, including spray guns, filters, and ventilation systemsFollow all safety procedures related to PPE, hazardous materials, and ventilation systemsMaintain accurate production and quality recordsKeep work area clean and organizedSandblastingOperate abrasive blasting equipment in a blast booth or designated blasting areaPrepare surfaces by removing rust, old coatings, and debrisLoad and unload parts using forklifts, hoists, or material handling equipment as requiredMask or protect areas not to be blastedInspect parts to ensure proper surface profile and cleanliness standards are achievedPerform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and reclaim systemsMonitor abrasive media levels and replace as neededFollow all safety procedures related to PPE, ventilation, and dust controlMaintain clean and organized work areaAccurately complete work orders and production documentationBandsawOperate horizontal bandsaw machines to cut raw materials to specified lengths and terpret and follow job orders, blueprints, work instructions, and cut lists.Measure and mark material for cutting using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.Adjust machine settings, including blade tension, speed, and guides, to match material and cutting spect finished cuts for accuracy and quality; make adjustments as necessary.Perform routine maintenance on saws, including blade changes, lubrication, and cleaning.Safely handle raw materials and finished parts using forklifts, hoists, or manual methods.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisorsReport missing material to supervisor for purpose to get material on order.To carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job.To work in other departments and locations as and when required.To be prepared to work outside normal working hours, including weekends sometimes at short notice.Performs other duties as needed to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission and abide by the values of the organization. Unloading material using a Forklift.Cutting material on table saw.Cutting material on a chop sawWhat Youll Need:Ability to follow proper safety protocols. Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.Strong attention to detail.Good literacy & numeracy skills.Good communication skills.Good teamwork skills.Basic computer skills.Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Forklift operator experienceExperience with power tools and saws. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred.Prior experience painting or completing paint prep tasks such as sand blasting is highly desirable.Prior experience operating a bandsaw or similar machinery is highly desirable.Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measuring instruments.Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Familiarity with basic math and measurement conversions (inches to millimeters, fractions, decimals).Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Self-motivated and self-directed Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision. Experience working with or moving heavy metals a plus. Physical Requirements: Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 + lbs. repetitively.Must have good hand/eye coordination. Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Working Conditions:Manufacturing or shop floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.Warm working temperatures during the summer months.May require working overtime or weekends depending on production needs.*All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.Who We Are?
