Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Mortgage Loan Closer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the timely and accurate closing of residential mortgage loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage documentation, compliance requirements, and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition from underwriting to funding.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review closing documents in accordance with loan approval terms, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.Coordinate loan closings with title companies, attorneys, borrowers, lenders, and internal departments.Verify loan data, including loan amount, interest rate, and fees, to ensure accuracy.Ensure all closing conditions are met prior to disbursement.Issue and manage Closing Disclosures (CDs) and final settlement statements.Perform funding authorization and coordinate disbursement of municate regularly with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely closings.Maintain complete and accurate loan files in accordance with company and investor requirements.Keep current on federal, state, and investor regulations related to loan closings.Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external partners.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.2+ years of mortgage closing experience preferred.Strong knowledge of residential loan closing documents and procedures (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA).Familiarity with TRID and other applicable compliance regulations.Experience with mortgage loan origination systemsExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.Excellent communication and customer service skills.The hourly rate is based on location and experience ranging from $24-26 per hour.
