Job Summary and QualificationsThe Interventional Technologistis responsible fortheoverall care and evaluation of patients having invasive procedures performed in the Interventional Lab. These duties include circulating, physiologicallymonitoringpatients during procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventionalprocedures, vascular andneuroendovascularproceduresand other physician guided invasive procedures. This position reports directly to the supervisor of Interventional Radiology.This position will require afterhourscoverage for acute emergent vascular and neurovascular procedures.This role will work directly with multiple Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons.Job may includethedirect supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student.Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support required(ARRT-R) Radiography requiredSCRQSA requiredGraduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.Experiencein Neurovascular andGeneralInterventional proceduresrequired.An excellent understanding of endovascular andneuro-endovasculardevicesrequired.BenefitsHCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
