Production - Mill

Position Title: Production - Mill Wage: $17.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 5:00am-3:30pm; 3:30pm-11:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Production - Mill position available at a company in Wilton, IA. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production - Mill Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate machines to cut, shear, bend, and straighten steel. - Measure pieces using micrometers to ensure they meet specifications and check completed work for defects. - Use an overhead crane to move product to and from shipping and receiving areas (training provided). - Feed steel through a cleaning machine known as a shot blaster. Production - Mill Requirements: - Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift. - Bend and crouch occasionally throughout the shift. - Push and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally throughout the shift. - Work in a non-climate-controlled environment. - Must have 3+ years of manufacturing experience. - Ability to read and write English. - Ability to read a tape measure; micrometer use preferred but training provided.
