Application Developer

Overview The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking an Application Developer to join our information technology team in Bells, TN to design and implement systems. The ideal candidate will possess extreme attention to detail, a high level of accountability and responsibility, and proven ability to design and develop logic based on functional and conceptual requirement specifications. Design integrated solutions which may include applications, databases, networks, and related systems. Research, analyze and evaluate current technical trends, emerging technologies and standards, new software functionality, and alternative software solutions. Complete documentation to provide user support for programs and for production/operating procedures. Qualifications Bachelor degree in computer science or other related technical discipline. Experience in Java development and object oriented application design. Experience working on both front-end and back-end development (Full Stack). Experience with SQL Server using data analysis skills a plus. Have practical working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. Strong teamwork, organizational and communication skills. Effective at troubleshooting and problem solving. Ability to work independently or within a team, requiring minimal supervision.
