Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Salesforce Software Developer to join our Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT) in support of Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. This role focuses on building custom features and integrations for multiple mission-critical systems.Job Duties: Designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce features and integrationsDeveloping secure, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIsWorking closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in compliance with DoD standards and security protocolsBeing willing to collaborate with analysts, architects, and security personnel to ensure alignment with system requirements and compliance standards#LI-SF1Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs in building scalable and maintainable solutionsExperience with unit testing, code coverage, and deployment strategies using tools like Change Sets, Ant, or CI/CD pipelinesExperience maintaining high standards of code quality, documentation, and performance in secure cloud environmentsStrong understanding of secure software development practices and DoD cybersecurity requirementsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience with Software Development Life-cycle, Source Control Management Systems (i.e., Atlassian Suite)Familiarity with Salesforce CLI, Scratch Orgs, and source-driven development workflowsExperience communicating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical clienteleBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSalesforce Platform Developer I certificationBackground in traditional Software Development or Web Development outside of the Salesforce platform (Relevant degree or work experience)Experience working on DoD or federal government projectsUnderstanding of integration patterns and experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL toolsKnowledge of Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchiesAbility to work closely with analysts, architects, and security teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsPrevious experience with KPIs, reports, and analyticsStrong documentation skills for technical designs, user guides, and system artifactsSalesforce Platform Developer II, App Builder, or Integration Architecture Designer (preferred)Commitment to staying current with Salesforce platform updates and best practicesPrevious experience with integrating solutions into preexisting systemsSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVELNoneScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
