The range for the role is $18.00 -$22.50 hourly. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity)Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.Successful completion of the New York State Eight Hour Pre-assignment Training Course prior to hire highly preferred, with completion required within 90 days of hire or transfer.Successful completion of the New York State Sixteen Hour On-The-Job Training (OTJ) Course prior to hire highly preferred, with completion required within 90 days of hire or transfer.Minimum Experience: Experience in security field and/or law enforcement preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license without violations meeting insurance carrier criteria.Must be registered with the NYS Security Guard Registry within 90 days of hire or transfer and maintain registration throughout duration of employment. Maintenance of the NYS Security Guard registration includes completion of a NYS approved 8-hour Annual In-Service training course once per calendar year.Must be certified in BLS prior to the end of orientation.Must attend hospital crisis training program within 3 months of hire or transfer and annually thereafter.Physical Requirements: Light to heavy duty based on job requirements and emergency situations.
