In this role, you’ll work alongside Professional Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure projects across a variety of markets—while gaining hands-on experience and building a strong foundation for your career.Collaborate with project teams on mechanical engineering design development and implementationPerform technical analysis and support diverse systems, new designs, and updates to existing schemesContribute to multiple projects simultaneously, supporting client, contract, and company requirementsHelp identify timely, cost-effective solutions that meet project goals and community needsSupport technology-enhanced planning and design services across public, private, and institutional projectsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering requiredEngineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferredNo prior engineering experience required; internships or cooperative learning through civil/site design, transportation design, construction, surveying, material testing, or other related field of civil engineering preferredFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or other drafting/modeling software preferredExperience with Microsoft Office Suite preferredA collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and passion for improving the world through great workWork alongside approachable, hands-on professionals who value collaboration and innovationGain exposure to diverse markets including Commercial, Education, Government, Industry, Transportation, Utilities, and Water ResourcesBuild your engineering skill set while contributing to meaningful projects that serve communitiesBe part of a firm committed to sustainability, inclusion, and finding a better wayCurious about how CHA is finding a better way?
