Position Type: Salaried - ManagementAbout the CompanyTranscor Recycling LLC is a leader in rail-served transloading, recycling, and aggregate processing, supporting major infrastructure, construction, and environmental projects throughout Florida.We are expanding our rail and bulk material terminal operations and are seeking a Transloading Terminal Manager to take ownership of daily terminal performance, safety, equipment, and yard operations. This role is critical to ongoing rail expansion, terminal development, and long-term operational growth.Position OverviewThe Transloading Terminal Manager is the senior on-site operational leader, reporting directly to the Vice President. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for managing railcar movements, bulk material handling, yard crews, heavy equipment, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and terminal productivity.This role is ideal for leaders with experience in rail terminals, transloading facilities, construction yards, recycling operations, or bulk material environments who are comfortable running operations in the field and leading crews directly.Long-term growth into senior operational leadership is expected.What We Offer✅ Comprehensive Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD✅ 401(k) with Company Match (6-month eligibility; vested over 5 years)✅ PTO & Paid Holidays✅ Tuition reimbursement for job-related programs✅ Supportive, growth-focused leadership environment✅ Long-term career advancement opportunityKey ResponsibilitiesTerminal, Yard & Rail OperationsOversee daily transloading operations, including railcar spotting, loading, unloading, and material flowLead yard supervisors and terminal crews with a focus on safety and productivitySet daily operational goals and ensure efficient task executionCoordinate all transloading activities with executive leadershipOversee yard security and access controlSafety & CompliancePromote and enforce a strong safety cultureTrain employees on equipment, material handling, and site safetyConduct weekly yard inspections and correct deficienciesMaintain safety supplies and complete incident and near-miss reportsEnsure OSHA-compliant operations and proper housekeepingEquipment & Railcar ManagementManage heavy equipment utilization and daily operating hoursCoordinate repairs and maintenance with shop and welding teamsInspect railcars and document inbound/outbound loads (including drone photos)Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-reduction strategiesAnalyze equipment performance and operating costsInventory, Scale & SystemsEnsure accurate inventory tracking for all materialsEscalate discrepancies immediately to leadershipEnsure scale accuracy, calibration, and reportingUtilize terminal software systems and learn control-point operationsConstruction & Expansion SupportSupport major infrastructure projects including rail line installation, silos, and terminal expansionAssist with project coordination and execution in active operating environmentsAccounting, Purchasing & Budget SupportTrack operational costs and identify savings opportunitiesReview AP invoices for accuracy and codingCreate purchase orders and source competitive pricingAssist with budget development and ongoing cost controlWhat You Need to SucceedCore CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to lead teams and influence safety cultureHigh initiative with a hands-on leadership approachStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook/Exchange, and operational softwareComfortable working outdoors in an active rail yard or terminal environmentRequired Qualifications (Unchanged)Minimum 5+ years’ experience in:Construction industryRecycling industryRailroad or transloading operationsExperience reading and interpreting plansProject management experienceProven experience leading teamsExperience managing operations, equipment, and/or yard functionsAbility to support sales and business development initiativesImportant Information?
