Summer Help - Assembler

Assemble electronic or mechanical products from blueprints using assembly fixtures and power bench tools. Cut & crimp wires, form, connect and perform simple soldering in accordance with instructions. Fit and align assemblies, recognize defective parts, inspect and test final assemblies on a variety of assembly operations. Experience with Kanban Inventory processCount and record parts from inventory with accuracy using basic math skills Communicate shortages, scrap and delays when applicableRead tape measure and interpret work instructions Operate small hand and power tools Perform cuts, crimps, connections and solder as requiredUse computer software to locate and print assembly drawingsIdentify and obtain accurate assembly fixtures as called by Work OrderAssemble products to Work Order specificationsPerform assembly tasks to meet daily production standards of quality and quantityPackage product for shipmentThis job may be required to perform electrical assembler/packager job dutiesEducation and Experience: High school or general education (GED) preferredComputer experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) preferredSkills and Abilities: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Complete standardized written documentation and correspondence. Professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office.
