Cobb EMC has an exciting opportunity for a Custodian to clean and maintain all corporate buildings and grounds and to maintain secure facilities during designated hourSchedule: Monday-Friday 6am-3pmBenefits: Company paid Health Insurance Premiums!Insurance is effective your first day of employmentRetirement Security Pension plan!Automatic 7% Company paid contribution to 401k with additional matching!Annual Bonus Program!Tuition and Certification reimbursement!Learn more HERETo learn more about Cobb EMC visit our website at www.cobbemc.comWhat you will be doing:Corporate Facilities MaintenanceClean and adequately supply all assigned restrooms dailySweep, mop, and buff all tile floors to established standards, per established scheduleVacuum carpet daily and clean spots as necessaryStrip and re-wax all tile floors to established standards as scheduledClean all inside window surfaces in assigned areas weekly and outside surfaces as directedEmpty all assigned trash cans daily and replace liners as requiredPick up and remove all paper, trash, and other debris from entries and sidewalks at least every other dayCorporate Facilities SecurityClose and lock all doors and gates in assigned areas dailyOpen and unlock all doors and gates in assigned areas and at assigned times dailyImmediately report all actual and possible security violationsAssigned Tools and Equipment MaintenanceOperate tools and equipment according to established proceduresInspect, service, and maintain assigned tools and equipment dailyPerform routine repairs as necessaryAdvise immediate supervisor of maintenance needs on tools and equipmentOther DutiesComplete all necessary forms, reports, records, and informationAssist in handling emergencies and outages as directedAssist in preparation of corporate facilities for annual meetingsMinimum Requirements:EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalentMinimum one year experience as a custodian, janitor, or equivalent in an office building office cleaning experienceKnowledge and skill in the use of cleaning equipment and suppliesSKILLS:Ability to become proficient in the use and care of building maintenance tools and equipmentAbility to perform assigned tasks without direct supervisionPossess valid Georgia driver’s licenseCORE Values:Put People FirstCare, listen and connect.
