Go ahead, find your favorite.The Associate, Denim Designer (Production Art) supports the Design team in the creation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) packages and pre-production design work under the guidance of the Design Director.Roles & Responsibilities: Attends style review meetings with Design teams to understand vision / concepts prior to initiating the tech pack processFollow up with Design teams on all pending information post style x style review meetingsWork with supervisor to achieve designer’s expectations for each artworkWork closely with supervisor to ensure production artwork meets all criteria before sharing with vendorsConsistently reference BOM for all TP color/fabric/art numbersParticipate in creating art pages with color separations, color call outs, sizing and art placementsConvert all over fabric print motif designs into repeat patterns for rotary and flatbed printing based on cylinder sizes and fabric widthsProvide technical callouts on art embellishments including embroideries, direct screen prints, appliques and fabric printsSupport 3D initiatives for artwork scale and placement Provide organizational support to the Design Operations team by maintaining digital and physical reference materials Incorporate the production ready woven and knittechnical layout/pitch sheets based on fabric construction and yarn counts into the production ready artsheetsModify and update PLM information as needed throughout the development/production processProficiency in Adobe Suite and Flex PLM Knowledge of Lotta Browzwear a plusKnowledge of fabrication limitations and printing restrictionsFamiliar with printing processes and techniques as it applies to different fabricationsWorking knowledge of the Pantone mixing system and how it relates to color matchingUnderstanding of pattern nesting and production markersSuperior organizational and communication skills; team orientedDetail oriented Ability to work in a fast pace, high performance environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountabilityBachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field 3+ years of relevant design experienceIn return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401(k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership.Our social impact program, Centric Cares, focuses on volunteerism to make a difference in communities we live and work in and our D&I committee is shaping the future of diversity, equity and inclusion at Centric Brands though workshops, resources and inspiring conversation.Salary Range: $70,000-75,000At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent.
