YOUR PASSION, ACTIONS & FOCUS is our StrengthBecome one of our ContributorsJoin the Caretria Team!Must be licensed Pharmacy Technician in Indiana or have an Indiana Tech in Training license.POSITION SUMMARY:The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.SHIFT: 10:00 am-6:30 pmKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirementsResponsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.The above duties are meant to be representative of the position and not all-inclusive.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of logistics experienceAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languagePREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription ordersKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Ability to lift 20lbsAbility to work in a standing environmentAbility to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
