In this role, you’ll apply systems engineering principles to help analyze, design, and integrate ground and satellite systems, while learning from experienced team members and gradually increasing your technical responsibilities. If you're ready to grow your engineering career in a collaborative environment focused on cutting-edge aerospace technology, this is the opportunity for you.What You’ll Do:Support system engineering activities across the Space & Ground segments under the direction of senior staffAssist in defining and decomposing system requirements and interfacesHelp prepare materials for system reviews such as SRRs and PDRsContribute to documentation for system integration and test effortsParticipate in system analysis and modeling effortsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and support technical executionLearn to identify design tradeoffs and support system-level decision makingWhat You’ll Need to Succeed:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field2+ years of experience in systems engineering or related technical work, preferably in aerospace or telecomStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present information and ideas to othersHave confidence and be able to easily build meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your teamMust be able to prioritize your tasks, be self-aware enough to identify and correct mistakes, and not be afraid to ask for help when neededBe active in seeking out ways to improve yourself and gain new knowledge, and be enthusiastic in sharing knowledge with othersThings That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:Basic familiarity with satellite systems or ground networksExposure to modeling/simulation tools or programming in Python, C++, or JavaCoursework or internship experience in systems engineering or telecomWe’ll also need you to:Be able to work in the office at least 3 or more days a weekBe able to travel up to 10%Be a U.S. CitizenPossess or be eligible for a Secret clearanceWork Environment:This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.We believe in-person connection drives innovation, strengthens mentorship, and builds culture, while flexibility enables employees to do their best work.
