Civil Professional Engineer

The firm is known for deliveringinnovative, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions, supported by advanced design and surveying technologies and a strong commitment to excellence.This is an opportunity for a motivated engineer to takefull ownership of complex site/civil projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and play a meaningful role in the firm’s continued growth.Key Responsibilities:Providetechnical and managerial leadershipfor site/civil projects from initial concept through construction and closeoutServe asEngineer of Record, delivering senior-level technical oversight, quality control, and constructability reviewsLead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including project engineers, landscape architects, consultants, and subconsultantsPrepare, review, and approve engineering reports, site plans, specifications, and complex design calculationsOversee site inspections, construction administration, and field coordination to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and standardsManage permitting processes and represent projects before reviewing agencies and regulatory authoritiesSupport project scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination to ensure on-time and on-budget deliveryMentor and develop junior engineering staff while contributing to firm-wide technical standards and best practicesQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)7-15 yearsof progressive site/civil engineering experienceActive Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State, or eligibility to obtain NY licensure (relocation assistance available)Advanced proficiency inAutoCAD Civil 3DandHydroCADProven ability to lead projects, interface with clients and regulatory agencies, and manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative leadership styleCompensation & Benefits:Generous, above-market compensation with base salary compensation potential up to $200,000 commensurate with experiencePerformance-based bonus opportunity401(k) with profit-sharingCompany-supported professional development and continuing educationRelocation assistance available for qualified candidatesClear long-term growth and leadership advancement potential
