This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys designing custom, low-volume, high-performance equipment in a collaborative and hands-on environment.What You’ll DoDesign custom industrial furnaces and related systems from concept to productionCreate detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawing packages using SolidWorksPerform mechanical calculations for structural strength, thermal expansion, and stress analysisSupport fabrication and assembly teams by producing clear, complete technical documentationParticipate in customer meetings and provide design recommendationsTroubleshoot design issues and support field installationsEnsure compliance with safety codes and industry standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, ISO, CE)Collaborate across engineering, production, and sales teams to meet project goalsWhat You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering3-5 years of mechanical design experience (preferably in industrial equipment or low-volume manufacturing)SolidWorks proficiency (required)Knowledge of mechanical systems: pumps, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, and structural supportsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAttention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at onceValid driver’s license and ability to occasionally travel to customer sitesBonus Points ForExperience designing high-temperature or combustion-related equipmentFamiliarity with MATLAB, Simulink, KISSsoft, or similar simulation toolsBackground in industrial automation or robotics integrationExperience working in a job shop or custom equipment environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary: $95,000-$115,000 (based on experience)Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (PPO and HSA options)Company HSA Contributions: $750 individual / $1,500 family401(k) with 10% Company MatchCompany-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off (PTO) + Paid HolidaysLong-Term Disability and Supplemental Life Insurance are available
