Control Panel Manufacturing Supervisor - Dayton, OH$75,000-$80,000 | Full-Time | On-Site | Leadership + Hands-On RoleWe are seeking a Control Panel Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and actively participate in the assembly and wiring of industrial control panels for custom furnace systems. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dayton, OH.This position is ideal for an experienced panel builder ready to step into a team leadership role while remaining hands-on in the build process.Position OverviewThe Supervisor of Control Panel Manufacturing reports to the Engineering Manager and leads a team of 1-5 panel builders. This role combines technical panel-building expertise with leadership responsibility, ensuring quality, accuracy, and production efficiency from assembly through pre-start-up preparation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and train a team of 1-5 electrical panel buildersAssemble electrical components and wiring layouts for industrial control panelsCoordinate with Engineering to interpret and execute panel build drawingsIdentify wiring or schematic discrepancies and communicate corrections to EngineeringRun and pull wire through conduit; bend and securely mount conduitPrepare panels for technician commissioning and assist with burner test-fire setupMaintain quality control standards and ensure adherence to production proceduresKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required (technical degree preferred)5+ years of experience in industrial control panel building or related electrical workProven leadership experience or readiness to supervise a small teamStrong working knowledge of:240V/480V single- and three-phase systemsAC and DC control circuitsElectrical schematics and 2D blueprintsProficiency using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic toolsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsValid U.S. driver’s licensePreferred ExperienceUnderstanding of UL 508A standardsExperience in custom industrial machinery or furnace systemsExposure to high-temperature or manufacturing environmentsWork EnvironmentCombination of office and factory/shop floor settingFrequent standing, bending, climbing, and lifting (up to 40 lbs.)Noise levels range from moderate to loudOccasional overtime and limited travel may be requiredCompensation & Benefits$75,000-$80,000 annual salaryMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions401(k) with 10% company matchCompany-paid life insurance and short-term disabilityPaid time off and holidaysVoluntary long-term disability and supplemental coverage options
