If you have the required skill set, education requirements, and experience, please click the submit button and follow for next steps., The Admissions and Recruitment Counselor will:, Assist carious admissions committees in reviewing and recommending initial admissions decisionsAssist in scheduling and, as needed, conduct onsite admissions interviews and maintain interview notes to add to the applicant's file, Be responsible for providing feedback to applicants throughout all stages of the admissions processMeet with prospective students, individually or in groups, to provide information on graduate program options, admissions criteria, and processesReview transcripts with prospective applicants in efforts to preliminarily evaluate their prerequisite completion as necessaryTrack application through carious steps and departments, and ensure it is processed and returned in a timely fashion, with follow-up as necessaryMaintain communication with students after matriculation and before initial term startJob SummaryRepresents the University in new student recruitment and participates in the evaluation of applicants. Participates in recruitment activities and projects, both in and out of state.Essential Functions, Student recruitment, admissions advising and counseling of continuing students. Ability to travel both on-campus and throughout the region, as necessary to attend recruitment events and meetings.Physical Effort, The job is primarily sedentary. May require the transport of recruitment materials to various on-campus and off-campus events.
