Job Title: Kitter Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitter to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the flow of production materials, overseeing the production floor, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities + Maintain a safe work environment and compliance with company safety policies. + Oversee the production floor and ensure workflow is adequate for current production workloads. + Meet daily with the Production Planner and Production Manager to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule. + Report daily production completions to Scheduling. + Coordinate and kit materials for Assembly jobs. + Make inventory quantity adjustments related to job completions. + Manage job issuances, including assigning travelers to individual assemblers based on skill level, and manage job completions. + Manage inventory levels and the flow of production materials on the production floor. + Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained to meet production demand. + Assist with the material receiving process. + Provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production records and data. + Maintain quality by establishing and enforcing company and customer standards, including inspecting finished products prior to shipment. + Attend weekly department meetings to identify and resolve any issues. + Perform other job-related duties as directed. Essential Skills + At least 2 years as a Kitter. + At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in assembly, hand tools, and quality control of a finished product. + Experience in inventory control. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of assembly processes. + Experience in production and woodwork. + Proficiency in wood finishing. + Hands-on experience with hand tools. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benicia, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
