Job Summary and Responsibilities OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist) Opportunities in Santa Cruz, CA Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican ( is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our rapidly growing team in coastal Santa Cruz, CA. Opportunity Highlights: + Commitment to Womenu2019s Health : Be part of a mission-driven organization focused on improving health outcomes for women and families. + Work-Life Balance : Benefit from flexible scheduling and practice autonomy that allows you to enjoy both your professional and personal life. + Co-Managed Care: Collaborative environment working alongside experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and fellow OB/GYN Physicians. + Hospital Facilities: + Modern, well-equipped birthing center that delivers approximately 1,200-1,500 babies annually + Onsite Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) + 24/7 anesthesia coverage with a team of experienced anesthesiologists + Dedicated OB ED Compensation and Benefits Include: + Annual Salary prorated based on 1.0 FTE salary of $395,000 + Sign-On & Relocation: Comprehensive packages available for full-time physicians. + Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees at 0.5 FTE or greater + Annual CME Allowance + 401(k) with employer match + Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer Responsibilities: + Deliver high-quality patient care in both office and hospital settings. + Clinic: Perform routine exams, manage prenatal and postnatal care, and conduct obstetric and gynecological procedures. + Hospital: Perform deliveries, surgeries and managing obstetric emergencies + Collaborate closely with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) in a heavily co-managed care model. + Engage in innovative practices to enhance patient outcomes and experiences. + Mentor and support junior staff and residents. + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
