Recruitment Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Oneida, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the recruitment process runs smoothly by managing candidate communications, verifying credentials, and maintaining compliance with employment regulations. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone passionate about talent acquisition and eager to contribute to a non-profit organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Facilitate job postings by understanding position requirements and qualifications, ensuring updates are made as needed. u2022 Guide candidates through the interview and hiring process, transitioning them seamlessly to onboarding when hired. u2022 Verify candidate references, credentials, and complete required documentation for background checks. u2022 Provide support to the HR team by cross-training and assisting with various HR tasks as needed. u2022 Ensure adherence to equal employment opportunity laws and related regulations throughout the recruitment process. u2022 Prepare and deliver recruitment reports as requested to support organizational needs. u2022 Coordinate and schedule interviews effectively to accommodate both candidates and hiring managers. u2022 Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate information and streamline recruitment workflows. u2022 Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts to meet the organization's staffing goals. Requirements u2022 At least 1-3 years of experience in recruiting or a related HR role. u2022 Proficiency in managing interview schedules and coordinating recruitment activities. u2022 Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and their functionalities. u2022 Demonstrated ability to handle full-cycle recruiting processes efficiently. u2022 Experience in corporate recruiting and working within structured organizational frameworks. u2022 Strong understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements. u2022 Excellent communication skills to counsel candidates and collaborate with team members. u2022 Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic recruitment demands.
