Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist 2nd shift - $30 to $35 an hour - 2nd shift working four 10 hour days Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes, performing dry runs on new programs, and ensuring parts meet customer prints and specifications. This role requires adjusting offsets and performing minor programming. Responsibilities + Set up and operate CNC lathes. + Perform dry runs on new programs. + Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer prints and specifications. + Adjust offsets and perform minor programming as needed. + Conduct quality checks using micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers. Essential Skills + 2+ years experience interpreting blueprints, detailed customer drawings, and specifications. + 2+ years experience performing CNC set ups with live tooling. + 2+ years experience adjusting offsets and performing minor programming. + 2+ years experience performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments. + 2+ years experience with CNC Lathe operations and manual machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience setting up and operating manual machines is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springboro, OH.
