As a Packer, you will be responsible for creating and assembling cardboard boxes, packing materials, and stacking products onto pallets. The job requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and involves supporting various lines and moving at a good pace, similar to a material handler without the equipment. Responsibilities + Create and assemble cardboard boxes. + Pack materials efficiently and securely. + Stack products onto pallets. + Support multiple production lines with energy and enthusiasm. Essential Skills + Experience in production, packaging, and packing. + Proficiency in data entry and general labor tasks. Work Environment The work environment includes shifts: 1st shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 3rd shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. You will be paid for 8 hours, which includes a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks. The York plant, with over 220 full-time employees, operates three shifts and specializes in extended content labels for pharmaceutical and home goods products. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
