DescriptionSetting & Population ServedProvidence St. Mary Medical Center facilities operate as a rural community hospital that provide:Medical and Surgical UnitsIntensive Care UnitInpatient Rehab Facility - CARF certified 8 bed unitEmergency and Same Day SurgeryA diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needsAs a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life within a supportive, patient-centered environment.Job Type: Full-time, Day shiftWage Range: $41.65 - $64.65 DOEUnder the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.
